    NBA ratings drop
Ratings are down for the NBA, both nationally and at the regional level. Nationwide by 12 percent, including 13 percent on TNT and 16 percent on ABC. On the regional level, the ratings are down by 13 percent. That is due to some big drops in certain markets (the Bay Area, for example), while the NBA says that ratings are up in 13 of the 28 markets that have reliable Neilson numbers (28 cities because Toronto and Denver are not included, the latter of which has a coverage/cable dispute that has much of the greater Denver region unable to view games at home).

TV ratings?????? HUH. its 2020. the fact that TV ratings are down is irrelevant if you are paying attention n to whats actually going on. twitter, instagram, youtube & steaming platforms. THIS is where the attention is for the league. welcome to the REVOLUTION.

It's becoming a garbage product. People just shooting 3's, no defence, no real competition, all about who's got the coolest sneakers. How can you really watch that on any platform or cable provider?....

Only so many ways to dribble a ball and put it through a hoop. If I didn't bet on it, I wouldn't watch a single minute of it regardless if the game was still played like it was in the 90's

Lot of millennials that live and breathe it probably do because it's still kind of new to them and they're more into the daily drama too that didn't really exist before social media. Lot of them also watch on illegal streams which is probably the biggest reason for the ratings drop

For me the NBA refs are very bad. Ruing a game and upsetting public and players. They should be get fine for bad calls.

missing the real rivalries of the 90s and 2000's; the game is not the same, lacks strategy

if it is not chuck 3's constantly it is drive to the hoop to get fouled and bitch if you do not get fouled

TNT & Espn keep showing shitty Warriors games and nobody wants to watch that team with their current G league roster. If the NBA could do like the NFL and move game times around to have the best match ups on prime time television they would have better ratings.
