Vegas Insider will tell you the lines at all the line originators, including the Vegas hotels.

Of course they are, that's why I called them line originators. Where do you imagine the lines are first created?

Very few of us will probably ever see an opportunity to get an opening line. When I see a number (Bears +4.5), I'll listen to VSIN and they'll talk about how it opened at +7. So on Monday, everyone will have already lost 2.5 points, magically, while a few lucky souls miraculously get a touchdown. I yell bullshit at my infotainment system everytime I listen to them talk about these wonderful openers.

They are not the opening lines. For example Indiana opened at -2.5. When it first came out the lines on Vegasinsider are ajusted not when they first come out and neither is the sbr odds page

You don't know what you're talking about. You want the lines but you don't know from whom/ where.

There isn't a singular line originator for the entire globe. Different consultancy firms release their odds at different times, and Vegas Insider relays that as does the SBR site to a lesser degree.

If it isn't a public line, then is it really an opener?

SBR Odds has the opening line the books put out for betting.
