    The first European coach from a European league, in the NBA?

    Phoenix became the first team to hire an Euro coach last season, but Kokoskov is not a European league guy -has been in the NBA a long long time. Cavs had an American coach (Blatt) that was a veteran of the Euro leagues -they signed him before James decided to come home. Now they're in the same spot as before.

    As fiery as they come, and a coaching genius. I just hope the team that gets him drafts well.

      He was hell of a player and great coach..Young and has been doing great with Zalgiris past few seasons...

          He has said he's not coming to coach in the NBA just to be able to say he's done it. He'll do it on his terms, which means he'll need the front office backing him when they hit bumps in the road -like Boylen had the Bulls' backing when they had their little mutiny.

          I think ultimately players LIKE coaching and accountability. You don't have to try and be best friends with the stars like fizfuck in New York. Bit of a misconception.
