This dude has been trash since his days in Phoenix. The Rockets organization handed this dude a championship team and he screws it up.

Thought he made some poor substitutions throughout the game. Giving Gerald Green’s minutes to Shumpert in game 1 & first half of game 2 was a terrible move. Shumpert misses 4 open threes this game & misses all his shots previous game. Then he goes back to Green in the 4th quarter when they needed stops & he misses several key defensive rotations.
It’s time they played Faried. Capela is playing softer then grandma’s cookies & they are absolutely getting killed on boards. At least play him on the second unit. Chances are he’ll play Curry & Durant better on the perimeter as well.
Lots of time in between games and he’ll have a chance to review the tape. I would be shocked if we have the same rotations when game 3 rolls aroundComment -
I'm expecting D'antoni is gone soon after this series if they don't at least look better and fix those substitutions as you mention sosawestbrook. If they get swept I'll be shocked if he isn't gone the following day.Comment -
Dont be ridiculous there's no chance in hell D'Antoni gets fired. Rockets are supposed to lose, they have less talent. The series boils down to Harden/ Paul/ Gordon vs Curry/ Thompson/ Durant ...no way they're winning that.
D'Antoni's problem is he over-achieves, similar to Tom Thibadeau in Chicago - albeit different style of play - and so people expect his team to go all the way at some point.Comment
