    Southeast Division
If Miami and Orlando tie in the lead after next Wednesday, do they play a one-game playoff, or does Orlando get the division title based on h2h?

Would be garbage if they tied, and Miami missed the playoffs due to a tiebreaker. Could have sworn there was a one game playoff last year between Denver and Minnesota for the Northwest division title. Maybe I'm mistaken, or maybe there was a rule change this year.

I took Miami to win the division 8 or 9 days ago, thinking in the back of my mind there was a good chance of a winner take all game between them, and Orlando/Charlotte, and I could hedge out if I wanted to......but didn't even cross my mind that they would lose the division on a tiebreaker.

Never heard of 1 game playoff. Last year, the Nuggets and Wolves had the same record going into the final game and schedule just happened to have them facing each other.

I don't pay too much attention to the tiebreaking scenarios as it can get quite complicated but first tiebreaker in determining division winner is indeed h2h.

Your right.....they did play on the last game of the season with the same record.

WOuld be amazing for the Heat and Magic to tie, the Heat still would get a Southeast Championship Banner for sharing the top spot, but yet could miss the playoffs. I highly doubt that's ever happened in any US Pro sport ever.
