not true. this team was somehow good with IT who was a scoring pg, but it doesn't work with kyrie. teams that are confident and cohesive do well in playoffs. this is not that team. brad stevens hasn't done the best job at managing things either. gotta be able to coach talent as well as x's and o's

I won a lot on them last year too. No one could understand why they were so good - still don't to this day - without Irving & Hayward, it was beautiful. Things are different this year. They have no identity.

I think Irving has been fine, I said before he's not a good leader but it's as much to do with young guys maybe not buying into him. Maybe they feel like they did great without him last year so they kind of resent him now.

I think Stevens had the right idea when he put the veterans in the starting lineup but I think that's run its course. Smart and Morris should be coming off the bench and playing reduced minutes. Get Hayward back in a starting role, it's time to sink or swim for him

The more I think about this, the more I like it. They are playing more cohesively and Hayward has noticeably improved.

Milwaukee and Toronto the rightful favourites but I like the current price on Celtics.

made some nice cash on them last year too i was so pissed Lebron robbed me of an ECF future and Finals bet but put more on the ECF than Finals... i think it was like 50/1 or something when Kyrie was done for the year and like 100/1 to win the NBA title. was literally just one game away to cash one of those nice futures that hurt the most... now Lebron isnt in the East no more. the only adversary of the Celtics is themselves. its said out of all the teams the Warriors fear the most out of the East it is the Celtics. so lucky they didnt play them last year.. the Finals would have gone 6 or 7 games imo and not the 5 game farce that it was last year

Oh man. Lebron absolutely killed me in game 7. I had them to win ECF and series bets etc. Should have hedged game 7.

i think i will too. i prefer the C's to lose tonight so i could put some more down on series bet. got some at +270. pretty amazing that it went from that price down to +105 off that game 1 win.. hoping to get it back to +200. gl

J.Brown is awful -definitely not a guard. Can't shoot, and when he's dribbling it up the floor I think car crash. Celtics really miss Smart; so much better on both ends of the floor.

They do miss Smart but i dont think he is better on offense though.. They need him for sure..

Smart has issues with inefficiency but crucially he can make plays for others -this is a big deal vs an uptempo team like the Bucks because it means longer possessions/ better ball movement.

There was a timeout in the 2nd quarter last night where Stevens told his team to keep the ball poppin because they could get any shot they wanted. What did they do? 3 quick shots with no ball movement and a sizemic momentum shift.

Yeah they kept taking quick three after another..missing and giving chance bucks for run out... I dont get that...hayward can make plays too but just fell into bucks game.. eventually I wanted them to lose since I think they take game 3 if they play smart.. If Middleton doesnt hit some of those shots in 2nd,3rd that game goes to the wire.. brogdon is a big miss for bucks though imo
