Are NBA teams not trying as hard now that there's less focus and less attention on them after MLB spring games began?
Or is it too late in the season for much to change in terms of playoffs? So lots of teams like the lakers gave up?

It seems like there was a paradigm shift and suddenly losing teams like the cavaliers, suns and knicks are picking up wins.
Something changed! But I can't quite identify what it was.
