    James is tainting his legacy
I feel like he went to LA for everything but basketball and just expected to show up and be a playoff team.

Now that the going is getting tough, he is throwing his teammates under the bus, trying to trade people and get superstars to join him, and looking for a new coach.

    Typical.

I’ve never heard so much whining from a player that’s supposed to be one of the greatest ever.

He isn’t even top five. Please never mention him in the same breath as guys like Jordan and Kobe.

Steph Curry is about to have more rings than Lebron after this year.....

Lebron beat a bunch of 21 year olds in the finals...three of those games were one possession under a minute to go.

The Spurs missed free throws and Ray Allen saved him.

Dreymond Green got suspended and cost the Warriors the series.

This guy is an eyelash away from being 1-8 in the finals. He was extremely lucky to beat the Spurs and Warriors.

And yeah, I realize he made it to 8 straight but the East was down. The minute the East got strong again he left.

He was injured for 20 games this season, cut the guy a break. First year with a new team that's worse than the Cav's team last year. As great as Lebron is he can't play the whole game. I said that the Lakers needed to acquire Butler, Davis, Love or Walker and they would have easily made the playoffs. Blame this not on Lebron but the incompetent upper management for not bringing in the necessary pieces at the deadline.
I don't have Lebron as MVP this year but he's still top 3. Everyone wants to hate on Lebron and that's fine but lets not act like he's not the GOAT

i think he's only tainting his legacy if you consider that jordan, kobe, shaq etc. tainting their legacy in their last few seasons in the league.

my question is why are the lakers so bad these days.. i look at their offensive boxscore after their games and it usually looks good. terrible defense?

        He isn’t the Goat.

He is on the decline. He whines a lot. It’s never his fault. He needs a new coach. He needs new players...guy is needy.

His best achievements the last few years are off the court.

Kobe, Jordan, etc. never whines this much or made this many excuses.

        Jordan has 6 rings.
        Kobe has 5
        Lebron 3

Lebron was dead set on Anthony Davis but he should have been more flexible.

A little awkward but why not go after Randle and/or Mirotic instead?

Vucevic + Ross were available when it looked like the Magic weren't going anywhere.

I'm sure they could have landed Beal if they really wanted.

He alienated his entire team in the process and maybe it's even harder now to land free agents in the summer.

It doesn't matter this year because no way he can beat the Warriors but Lakers basically made no progress this year to contending for next year.

Yeah, I don’t see them being much better next year either.

And now teams in the west are bringing their A game against the Lakers after the AD failed trade.

He isn't on steroids anymore. As soon as that Miami clinic got busted...which they recovered documents with steroid Rx with the initials LBJ on them...he got the heck out of town. Then during that off-season he quickly lost 20 lbs over the summer. Coincidence?

He is declining in front of our eyes.

By the time LA gets another star, he won't even be a top 5 player anymore.

                      1. Antetokounmpo
                      2. Durant
                      3. Anthony Davis
                      4. Curry
                      5. Kawhi

Dude handpicked Superstars to run through the east and went 3-6 in the Finals. Very lucky he isn't 1-8. Forget Jordan, he isn't even as great as Kobe was.

James being GOAT narrative is being blown way out of proportions, and it's outright retarded imo. What was Lebron greatest achievement???? Beating the 73 wins warriors team??? That title got a HUGE ASTERISK to it, curry wasn't healthy, warriors 73 wins regular season and only .500 in the playoffs?? It doesn't make sense, either that warriors team weren't themselves with limping curry or they were vastly overrated, amazing in regular season and only good in playoffs, regular season and playoffs are 2 different thing.... with that said, Lebron should of lost that series in 5 if it wasn't him crying to NBA and got draymond suspended then that shifted the whole series momentum and Cavs never looked back....

I totally agree with BigDofBA, even KOBE > Lebron in my humble opinion. Mind you, the only great team lebron faced, he got swept twice literally, Warriors with KD, and the 2014 spurs who blew them out of the gym, and he also LOST when he was supposed to win as a favorite to the Dallas Mavericks. There's nothing suggesting leborn being the GOAT, other than being GOAT in whining category.
