I want this thread to be for people to come together after games, and talk about maybe why a bet lost, and what your thoughts were when you made it, and how we can improve the next time. Lets make each other better bettors!

#2I wanted to start it off with the Rockets v Jazz game tonight. I think of myself as more of a sharp sided bettor most of the time, and usually against the public. I look at lines and base my decision off of that a lot. If a line seems short and too good to be true, I will usually go the other way and it works out a lot. This line came out at Utah -2 and went to -1. Knowing the Rockets have been in a slump, that seemed really short to me especially with Utah being at home. That made me want to take the Rockets. Obviously Utah ends up destroying them, which means my read was right on the short line, but wrong on the pick. Did Vegas just make a mistake with the line or what?... I hope this new thread can last a while bczu I feel like it can add value to all of us. Thanks!Comment -

#3Lol. Be surprised if you get the kind of productive discussion you're hoping for, 95% of guys on here's main reason for losing is "the game was fixed". Funnily enough, games are never fixed when they win.
Best of luck.Comment -
