    "Too good to be true" Friday edition
    This week I predicted Cleveland's first win and Milwaukee's first loss. On Wednesday I picked Brooklyn to win by 2 1/2 and they won the game by 1 point so at least I was close for that one.

    Friday's game features the Houston Rockets facing Brooklyn. Houston is 1-5 and has lost their last 2 games by 19 and 20 points and are on the road as a favorite without their star player James Harden.

    No-brainer, right? The Nets should win this one going away, right?

    No! The Nets seem "too good to be true". Take the Rockets. The line is currently at -3 1/2. I think it will come down later on Friday and I'll post the line I bet at that time.

          Well the line did come down from -3 1/2 to -3 but it went back up to -4. I'm still going to wait for a better line. I'll post that when I bet it.

                          Yeah, they're kind of fun aren't they?

                          I still can't figure out what some people saw in Houston to make them want to bet on them. Chris Paul and Mello Anthony both stepped up tonigiht. Why they played well tonight after sucking big time the last 2 nights I don't know.

                                      i think i fell for blazers-3.5.
                                      i was thinking why are they only 3.5 points favs at home. line should be higher.

                                              I didn't see anything in the NBA on Saturday or today (Sunday). Maybe Monday there will be a good pick.
