Ty Lawson=Perfect fit for the Nuggets
Just what the Nuggets needed. An elusive and smart ball distributor to run point for the Nuggets, with Chauncey on the bench. Now all we need is a big man that can shoot.

Trade for Big Z the Cleveland fans don't respect him and he brings a lot to a team and you could probably get him cheap since he only has a couple of good years left.

The thing with Lawson is he is so fast he will be able to penetrate which in turn will open things up for the excellent shooters Denver has or he will get high percentage buckets. I agree this was a nice move on draft day.

I guess Lawson would be good to groom as the eventual replacement but AC is a top 3 backup PG in the league...I guess they want to play Billups off the ball more.

Wow, this guy is amazing. Blazing fast like Aaron Brooks and a deadly distributor down the lane. This guys and the Nuggets high octane offense going to be fun to watch this season.

How did Denver get Lawson?? Did he drop that low in the draft? This kid is a balla and is going to be a superstar in a few years. He just has winner written all over him.

the draft shows so much about a team's front office. i'm a grizz fan, we get thabeet, carroll, and young, meanwhile, the nuggets are picking up ty lawson and the spurs are picking up dejuan blair late. granted it's only been one game, but both look like steals already.

he was picked 18th in the draft, considering some of the ppl going before him, thats pretty high for him IMO....he is only 5'11" and has limted 3 point shooting skills, he can and will get better, but thats the only thing holding him back.

Front office is everything... IMO. Just look at the Clippers.

Spurs and Nuggets FO need to wear ski mask's. First the steal for Chauncey, now this.

My memory is so bad, I can't ever remember the draft. I know I wanted Cleveland to get him or Hibbert but I remember Hibbert was gone but couldn't remember Ty. I was hoping Cleveland would have gotten Paddie Mills. I think this guy is going to be a Tony Parker type once he gets healty.

wolves drafted him then traded him for a future 1. was a good move for the wolves with rubio and flynn already signed up.

lawson i think will be good, i still think flynn will be the best point out of the class.

amazing how he took over tonight in that comeback by the wolves

Best part to all this is he gets to learn off Billups. A GREAT intelligent point guard. Ty Lawson will be a very good player for years to come. This topic is exactly right. He is a great fit to the Nuggets.
