I'm an old timer. I remember teasing a military buddy of mine that was a huge MJ fan about Bird 3 MJ Zero. I knew MJ was the best player I'd ever seen but he didn't get any rings til his 6th season I think? MJ did some of his greatest feats before they ever won the East....definitely doesn't mean he wasn't great. Physically nobody is better then LeBron but he's been too unselfish in the past. Jordan had no problem scoring 45 of their 90 points....in fact he liked it that way. LeBron is more of a purist....he loves to share the ball like Magic Johnson or Bird.
