    RJ to the SPURS!!
    For all my Spurs fans,

Buck's Richard Jefferson was traded to the Spurs for Bowen, Oberto and Kurt THomas. Exactly what the Spurs needed, an athletic wingman who scores 20pts a night. 4 perennial all stars now, with a line up of Parker, Ginobili, RJ, Gooden, and Duncan.

    Good move!

If Ginobili and Duncan can stay healthy and the Spurs can pick up some bench role players they might be elite again. Another good management move by the Spurs though. I think they have one of the best managements in the NBA.

If you think Kwame for Gasol was a crime, then this one ranks right up there.

Spurs needed another scorer when Ginobili went down. No way Parker and Duncan could carry the load every single night. It was clearly evident in that series with Dallas. Too much pressure on Parker and Duncan to get at least 30 a night to stay competitive.

This was a financial trade for the Bucks. The Bucks are going for that 2010 freeagent hunt for Lebron, D-Wade, Bosh, and etc. Bowen, Oberto and Kurt Thomas all have expiring contracts which ends after this upcoming season. The Bucks are really going to take a punch though this upcoming season.

            I agree..

Spurs is one of the best sport franchises in the history of all sports.
They know where to find the best talent at the least expense.
However, they have made alot of stupid moves and releases also.

            '07 - Tiago Splitter (brazil)
            '06 - Damir Markota (croatia)
            '05 - Ian Mahinmi (France)
            '04 - Beno Udrih (Slovenia)
            '03 - Leandrinho Barbosa (brazil)
            '02 - John Salmons
            Luis Scola
            01' - Tony Parker (France)
            00' - Chris Carrawell
            99' - Emamanuel Ginobili (Italy)

Imagine how many championships the Spurs would have won if they kept Barbosa, John Salmons, Scola, and Splitter would leave the euro dollar. Amazing draft picks, but they do let them go.

Yeah, I understand that but there is no way Lebron is going to Milwaukee.

Charger42 it can't be as bad as the Hornets trading Kobe Bryant for Vlade Divac.

haha...who would of guess Kobe will become the black mamba. The Gasol and Kwame deal was something else too like The Kid said.

Ive also read Celtics interested in trading RayRay Allen and Rajon Rondo for Tayshaun, RIP, and Rodney Stuckey. What do you think?

Yeah, that Celtics/Pistons trade was brought up but I don't think it will happen. Celtics are trying to move Allen's big salary while also trying to push for another championship run with the guys they have/would get. Detroit would get an expiring salary in Allen for next year and that's clearly what Dumars is trying to do after moving Billups. I don't know if it's worth it to trade an up and coming player in Stuckey and two solid players in Prince and Hamilton for an aging Ray Allen and Rondo.

I heard about that Celtic trade too. What is Joe Dumars thinking lately. Giving away Prince, Stuckey, and Rip to get a guy who is about to retire soon and Rondo. Ray Allen and Rondo are two good players but your trading 3 for 1.5 players. Ray Allen is 34! Someone needs to smack some sense into Joe Dumars. If I was the Celtics I would do it, that would mess up the team chemistry but Ray Allen is 34. And having KG, Pierce, Rip, and Prince in the lineup what are you serious. And stuckey is pretty good too. Wow what a team! All the Celtics would need are some bench role players.
