    WTF

Can't believe one player makes this big a difference but this is a huge swing.

Seimone Augustus is one of the best scorers in the league right now. She averages about 22points. Her replacement most like will score about 8-12 points at best. 22-8= 14 point swing. Not to mention that this is a road game and home court advantage is so crucial in the WNBA. This line makes perfect sense.

Not to mention the Storm have one of the best team leaders in the game in Sue Bird and possibly the best player ever in the WNBA in Lauren Jackson. I think the Storm take it all this year in my opinion and last time I called the Storm all the way they did it so I am going to stand by it as long as Jackson or Bird don't get hurt which has really hurt the Storm in a few of their seasons.

You are comparing lines from where min was on the road to a home game of course there will be a big swing, add in that their star player is gone and I don't know why you find it so surprising. Only one WNBA team had a positive record on the road last season.

You pay attention. Wish more people did.

Home field in WNBA is weird. It "looks" like about 3 points, but its behavior is more subtle and insidious than that.
