I played some basketball down in the Desire Projects of New Orleans.....I was going to Southern University at the time......

This one dude kept attacking the rim in Jordan-style and everybody would just step out of the lane and praise him.

Well........at the time I played rugby and these showboating tactics annoyed the f*ck out of me......so everytime this dude would go strong to the hoop, I would chop him down hard. Things got out of hand.....but I'm a competitor....and I'm still alive. And I'm quite certain he is too. Just a very cool experience for me.....cuz you couldn't find a racist f*cking white person within a 20 mile radius of that place........and that's where I'm most comfortable.......away from racists.

Lemmy has been drinking that funky lemonade tonight. I went to Georgetown, played ball from morning until night. Played with/against Wingate, Williams, Jackson, Smith, Dalton - everyone on the team except Patrick, he never came out for intramurals.

Back then I was in great shape, I could even touch the net when I jumped. Anyway, one night I was playing a friend one on one outside McDonough Gym on campus. John Thompson and the AD were standing there watching. I beat him like 20-2, I must have hit 90% from all over the court. Do you think I got "the call"? Nope, I turned around and they were gone.
