Allen Iverson is Overrated Anyways

Allegedly (probably true), he wants out of Philly. If I am Philly, I would be happy. He is extremely athletic and a good player, but I don't think he makes anyone around him better and he will never win a championship. I watch him play and I am like wow he does some cool shiit, but does it really mean he is one of the best basketball players in the NBA, not in my perspective.

Yeah Yeah Yeah you're going to say he hasn't had help or he has amazing numbers, but basketball has so much to do with the intangibles.

I like that he plays his ass off, but no, he isn't one of the best players in the league, and he certainly is not likely to lead a team to a championship.

He's definately played his last game in Philly. The 76er's wouldn't even let him go on the road trip for tomorrow nights game, and it's sure looks like Minny is very interested in trading for Iverson, that is if you believe the ESPN rumor mill.


I'm just suprised it took him this long to demand a trade, because this team has been a real mess ever since Larry Brown left years ago.

AI plays hard but he is not a team player

he takes away almost as much as he gives on offense

still an all star calibur player but not top 15 IMO
