    Report: Bulls' Mirotic out indefinitely after 'serious altercation' with Bobby Portis


    Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic has reportedly been hospitalized and will be out indefinitely following an altercation with Bobby Portis during practice on Tuesday, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. Here are some of the early details on the incident:
    Chicago Bulls forwards Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis engaged in a physical altercation in practice Tuesday that resulted in Mirotic being hospitalized and sidelined indefinitely, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
    ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Mirotic has a fractured bone in his face.


    In practice scuffle with Bobby Portis in Bulls practice, Nikola Mirotic suffered a fractured bone in his face, league source tells ESPN.

    Additionally, NBC Sports Chicago's Vincent Goodwill is reporting that Mirotic was punched in the face by Portis and is also under evaluation for a possible concussion.




    Apparently there was some pushing and shoving and Mirotic was punched by Portis. Mirotic is being evaluated for a concussion

    At this time there are no further details at this time, and it's certainly not the news Chicago fans would want to hear leading up to the start of the NBA season.
