My Warning to new NBA Cappers
As this pre season progresses you will see that it is way to unpredictable. For right now don't bet it...just watch take notes. Alot of these teams have totally new rosters. You need to see how these new teams mesh. Okc, celtics, t-wolves etc. Wait till October 17th, to this take this message as you wish. And I will see you in regular season...will have futures in upcoming weeks

I don't get why OKC needs 2 guys playing the 3 guard.
How about a trade of Cousins for Paul George or something.
      Or Anthony on the Pelicans.

The Pelicans really need a shooter

The Rockets are just a really good team.

Charlotte looks better defensively with the addition of Howard.
Howard is really good at offensive boards.
The Lakers need a center who can get some offensive boards and put backs.

Washington very fast paced high scoring games,

Dallas is pretty good they look better than Memphis who looks like the most boring team in the league

This thread reads "i don't know how to cap nba pre-season games so you don't either". It's not unpredictable, it's just difficult for YOU to predict.

I used to be horrifically bad at picking pre-season. And certain nights I just won't pick anything (last night being one of them). That being said I'm 2 and 0 this pre-season, keeping my fingers crossed. My strategy? Fading a championship hungover GS Warriors (against a strong Denver Nuggets squad) & fading San Antonio Spurs (against Sacramento Kings. Popovich could care less about a preseason loss). And it worked. Guessing that fading such teams would have been going against the public.

I tend to favor unders the first week or so. Seems like legs are not conditioned yet and the scoring is BIG in the 1H and then falls off.

Do a pre season thread and let me know how it goes. I'd bet you won't do the greatest

I'm not sharing my picks. That's very narrow minded to assume no one else can beat the pre-season odds just because you can't. Gamblers operate at varying levels. Not everyone does it just for the crack.

Sounds like someone knows they won't win, never said I couldn't. I just choose not to bet it. I was just warning people I said take this message as u wish. But apparently someone like you is just an action junkie. Hope u make money to get your crack

LMAO. Dude, people will have five unit bombs on opening night...several of us will bust out after three days and will be reloading. You do realize this is a degenerate gambling forum right?

That's what I'm betting already. Funny that someone would say these games are unpredictable and..... the regular season games aren't?? Both difficult, neither unpredictable.

                              good comments, thank you

never understand the stockpiling of overlapping basic talent some teams do....... cleveland should have trade kyries or love for a great defensive center... so many obvious trades between small talent teams and big talent teams (not that many of these but NOP obviously)

can we really believe in dwight howard? interesting idea though.
not a believer in lakers at all but isn't brook lopez a good big man? is he playing?

memphis i think is interesting.. i thought mclemore was never given good chances in sac-town and didn't play that badly anyway. and i assume they got tyreke for free.

can miami consolidate their success from last year?

minnesota to next level? same idea on philly but from much lower level?

i somewhat agree........ preseason i think is stupid, but not sure in some ways it's not far more predictable. in some ways more unpredictable of course too.

i always found it funny about nba referees possibly fixing games......... if you could figure out the pattern, it was completely free money - note that i'm thinking about soft fixes/terrible refereeing/etc. NOT actually completely fixing games.

Another thing I'd suggest is not to wager too many games. Try to hone in on one super strong play of the day. Don't even play every day necessarily. Take a break from the whole thing if you have to. Maintain a quality day job or business before you get in too deep into gambling.

Analyze the fucc outta news, injury reports, etc. Gotta treat this like it's fantasy basketball. Pay attention to situational events.
