Orlando @ home will be a different story. For safety, I buy down 2.5 to have Orlando -1 with 1/4 of my bankroll. I have confidence in the Super Man and his company to win game 3. Good luck to all!

I believe that the Orlando has enough talent to handle the LA Lakers with the cheering of their home crowd. Although the Orlando lost game 2, they showed that they have option to come back from behind and played close game with the Lakers. My gut told me that Orlando gonna get game 3 at home.

Best of luck Gator, but please be careful here. Phil Jackson's record in the finals is impressive to say the least, and Kobe looks serious. I'll admit I didn't give the Lakers their due credit especially against Denver this postseason. I got silenced rather quickly.

Razz, I always respect Phil and his crew during the playoff. LA is quite a balance team with all kind of weapons, that why I have to buy down 2.5 point to have Orlando -1.

Well, since we're all in this risky business, nothing is for sure. But If I lose this one, I am still happy because it's reasonable to bet on Orlando -1 in this scenario:

              1. It should be a must win for Orlando (I never like must win situation in gambling but it's true here)
              2. Orlando seems playing their best basketball at home court
              3. LA with the lead 2-0. They'll be likely sleeping on their victory.

I could not pass this deal, Orlando -1, and hope I could cash it.

All valid points Gator. As long as you are comfortable risking such a large portion of your bankroll. Best of luck.

Wouldn't you be better off simply buying Orlando on the moneyline as opposed to buying them down to -1?

Its always a good rule of thumb to disregard all recommendations that include buying multiple points as well as when a hometown bias exists (gator fan, Orlando).

There's nothing safe about buying multiple points. Its just a foolish thing to do.

Great call. Your point buy was needed, b/c that foul at the end of the game was unnecessary.

This was one of those games you could have bought points both ways and still hit both of them!
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!
