Dwyane Wade Eyeing Miami And Los Angeles
If Dwyane Wade is able to reach a buyout agreement with the Chicago Bulls, there will be plenty of contending teams interested in signing the three-time NBA champion. However, while the Cleveland Cavaliers are considered the frontrunners for his potential services, Miami and Los Angeles are two other possible destinations for the 35-year-old, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

LeBron James’ camp reportedly expects Wade to team back up with the King should he leave Chicago, but you can’t help but think Wade might be amenable to going back to Miami.

As far as Los Angeles, Jackson does not specify which team Wade would be interested in signing with. Would he be intrigued by the Lakers, the Clippers, or both?

The Clippers seem like an odd choice at this stage, as they are very far away from legitimately contending after trading Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets. While the Lakers are certainly not a title contender by any means, they are one of the top two franchises in the NBA (the other being the Boston Celtics) and could end up landing James via free agency next summer.

Rumors have abounded about James potentially taking his talents to Tinseltown in 2018, so Wade heading over to the Lakers now would make sense if he has his heart set on playing with his old teammate again. Still, even if that’s the case, Wade could just sign with the Cavaliers now and then head over to Hollywood with James next summer.

While no buyout talks between the Bulls and Wade have happened yet, you have to think it’s a possibility for a Chicago franchise that is clearly looking to rebuild after trading Jimmy Butler on draft night.
