Best all-around player ever - Jordan without a doubt.

But there are other bests: best player to make his teammates around him better - Larry Bird.

Best Center in the modern era - Olajuwon
Best Center in the old days - Wilt for offense/Russell for defense

You have to compare eras and positions or else you're not comparing apples to apples.

But the only guy you can logically make a case for as being the best all-around player who ever lived is Jordan.

These types of arguments are useless. Lebron is great but he needs to win championships. Kobe is great and has won championships, but he is nowhere near Jordan especially his passing ability. Jordan took over games night in and night out with an array of skills.

These stats belong to the best player ever

problem is most of us were not alive to see him play. and why he isnt credited by nba analysts is atrocious to me.

Jordan is one of only a few players to ever have 100 blocks and 200 steals in a season, moron.

Lebron never was and never will be anywhere near Jordan, he is a great player but I have never seen anyone so overrated at such a young age in my life. HE HAS NEVER WON ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
Dont forget Jordan shot 53% from the field those years.

Yeah, I've been saying that all along. Lebron hasn't won anything so I don't know why he's being compared to Jordan already anyway. I retract my previous statement but Lebron is ONE of the best to play at such a young age.
