With your avatar it is a shocker that you think that. It happens in sports you might not have seen another cheep shot by your boy at the other end and that was payback that is the way it goes. If you give me a cheap shot I will give one back and lets face it the odds of Artest and Martin giving a cheap shot are higher than Kobe initiating both of them. If it had been on two other guys like JR and Battier or something I would understand the cheap shot comments otherwise the other two probably did something to deserve it. Lakers score the last 6 points on FT's on non-existent fouls where on the other end the Nuggets were getting clobbered and were called for offensive fouls. Even Michael Jordan had to make shots to win games when he was a champion with the Bulls. Not getting some FT's to win the game.

If you are talking about the offensive foul that Anthony got when Gasol just stayed planted in the lane then you have never played any type of basketball before. I played college ball and knew without a doubt it was an offensive foul. The foul call by Nene was kind of iffy on the block area. It didn't bug me though as it should have been called a foul on the rebound when he was getting pinned down as both of Nene's arms where rapped around Gasol. The foul by Martin was obvious he threw his right arm around Kobe and his body. The announcers saw it and even the sports crew after the game talked about the dumb fould by Martin. If the announcer especially when they are a former NBA player or coach knows the foul wasn't deserved and shouldn't have been called they let their audience know. Plus I see all these talks about the bad calls going in way of the Lakers what about the bad calls that went the way of the Nuggets. Anthony on multiple occasions one for an offensive rebound pushed Ariza out of the way that was a no call. The out of bounds three pointer by Billups when his toe clearly stepped out of bounds.

Sometimes hard fouls happen when you do not really intend them to as well. Check out Lebron and his elbow which didn't get him suspended and then look at the elbow that Kobe laid on Ginobli that got him suspended and tell me the league give Kobe the better treatment.
