    NBA Championships - Denver +800
    NBA Championships - Denver +800

I'm not waiting for the outcome of the Western Conference finals before making this play. It's clear that the Lakers are somewhat overrated and I think the hottest team of the moment (Denver) will win the Western Conference.
As for the Eastern Conference, Cleveland will win that. But let's face it, Cleveland are also overrated, IMHO. In the playoffs, they've faced 2 teams (Detroit and Atlanta) that wouldn't have made it to the Western Conference playoffs. Atlanta CLEARLY didn't belong in the playoffs. In a possible Cleveland-Denver matchup, I see Denver winning one road game and Cleveland unable to do so. That'll give Denver the Championship in 6. I say Denver wins GMs 2, 3, 4 and 6.

Better to just bet them each series. They will be huge dogs to the Cavs.

If they were to win the West, Denver won't be a +800 dog against Cleveland. We know they face a huge fight against the Lakers but who knows! I just like the way they're playing right now.

I'm thinking you can get betetr than +800 by parlaying denver to win game 7, denver to win the west, and denver to win the championship.

And what does that has to do with Denver making or not making it the Finals and winning it. You think the NBA wanted the Spurs to make it to the Finals and win it 3 times the last 9 years. Whether the Lakers makes or not the Matchup between Cavs and Nuggets will still one of the more intriguing ones in the last 10 years.

Denver will beat the Lakers and will give Cleveland a run for the money. +800 is great odds for the way this team is playing!

I have Denver beating the Lakers next round at +220. Why?

                      1) Certainly not a good time for the Lakers to go on a slump and it's going to cost them.
                      2) Phil Jackson is going nuts with his zen shit and that will cost them too.
                      3) The Nuggets are hot as **** right now and haven't found a legitimate competitor. The Lakers will obviously bring the best out of them, but they will show up to play.

you kids are tossing money at those props like denver has beaten a quality playoff team. n.o was worst team to make the playoffs and dallas is the biggest bi-polar choke job of a team in the nba. i would feel much better about a denver prop if they had played some better competition. lakers will have less of a problem with them than they are having with the rockets. imo

I agree Raydog... Denver has had an easier road than Cleveland. NO was a mess and very overrated. Injuries to Paul and Chandler killed any chance they had yet Denver couldn't sweep that sorry ass team. Dallas also had injuries and could care less about defense. Denver should have swept them as well.

As good as Denver has looked don't let it get you twisted. The Lakers beat them in 6. The Rocket's are much tougher than most people think as well. Don't forget how easily the Rockets disposed of Portland who is just as good as Denver IMO.

Lakers will be about -350 vs Denver, and over -400 at most recreational books.

Lakers will have a very easy time with the Nuggets. The George Karl factor will wake up soon enough. He will tell his team we have more firepower than the Lakers and won't coach a lick. Phil will clean the Staples Center with him.

Curious...If I'm taking the Lakers, do you poeple think I'll get a better line when the series line first comes out, or shall I wait for the public to pound a certain side?

mac - im shocked you say that. Denver is the better team, i said that a series ago, and i continue to say it now. (especially with Denver +295 series price against L.A)...
Denver will win game 3 by 10+ points, and win this series. There almost unstoppable at home. And this is why i love these so called "experts" on espn. Because everyone and there mother had the Lakers - Cavs in the finals. And it will be the Nuggets. Who wins this series in 6, and the finals in 6.
                                        Check out my blog.

Nuggets are the most dominant team left playing. And flat out scary at home.
