Yes, but now Lakers realize that Houston CAN win without Yao. You'd be crazy to bet against the Lakers this game, considering it's in LA, Kobe is pissed, and Magic Johnson called their performance in Game 4 "embarassing."

Bet Lakers or stay off, imo.

guys honestly did you watch the second half of that game?? LA knows how to win this game and all they need is kobe and Gasol... Gasol had his way with houston 2nd half...and he will probably score 35 pts with a double double.. Kobe will get his 45 with a double double if not a triple double

I was at Game 3, the Lakers were in total control. They always come back strong after a loss, and stronger after an embarrassing loss. Just like in the Utah series.

Houston will have to play another perfect game to cover let alone win outright. Anything is possible, but it's not likely.

Lakers should get up to about a 20 point lead sometime in the 3rd quarter if not sooner and only way Houston covers this game is if they let up a little in the 4th, which I do not see happening.

That is just it, Kobe can go off and the Rockets still will keep it close. When the Lakers bench comes in they can't score because they are aweful and any lead will be eaten up. No one else on the Lakers have any answer for the Rockets stiff defense.

If you have faded the Lakers when they lay 10+ in the playoffs you have made a boat load of money because they play no defense and can't cover those lines. I don't see why tonight would be any different.

People say well now the Lakers will be mad and route the Rockets, well you can also look at the fact that Rockets with that blowout are now confident that they can win the series even without their center. I wouldn't be suprised to see the Lakers trip over themselves again tonight and lose outright. It probably won't happen but I honestly don't see them winning by 13+.

We all know one thing, Rockets will bring the "D" and with a team playing that hard on the defensive side of the ball it is hard to beat them going away especially when the Lakers are just pathetic on the defensive side of the ball.
