Pelicans +5.5 would have been a system play for me. But the Bucks' playoff hunt almost solely depends on their home record as life on the road will be hard for them. So a home game versus a mediocre team like the Pelicans is a must-win. Pelicans are still without Jrue Holiday. Holiday is still holidaying. So the Bucks are a good call, IMHO.
