    NBA Season Discussion
We are less than two weeks away from NBA opening day. Thoughts on certain teams? Who improved? Who got worst? What strategies are you going to use this season?

I haven't paid a ton of attention to the offseason moves, but I'm confident the Jazz make the playoffs, and I think they could get near 50 wins.

I love betting NBA, the sport where the players do the dumbest shit lol.

I think Bucks and Wolves will make it to the playoffs. Bulls and Knicks will make playoffs, although I'm not sure about the latter.

I'm not sure about the Bulls. Bulls seem like the trendy pick that will probably fall short. Rondo is a loser. They have little to no outside shooting in their starting backcourt. They seem thin upfront now that they've lost Noah and Pau. Mirotic isn't that great, people like him because he scores, but he doesn't do much else.

No idea what to expect from Knicks. They'll probably disappoint like they always do. I feel pretty good about these teams making playoffs (in no order): Cavs, Celts, Pistons, Raptors, Pacers, Wizards. That leaves two spots open.

Jazz O48: get 50, defense gonna be sick , even w/o GH for a while.

Thunder O44.5: They still 4/5 seed w/o Durant

Heat u35.5: If they start slow, they will tank

Celtics O51.5: my least favorite of the 4, but still think they get it done

I like the first three, not really sure about Boston. Jazz should hit 50, books like them given the # they threw out. Heat will likely tank this year. Thunder are still a solid group, Oladipo was a great addition. Not sure what Orlando was thinking. Celts over/under seems spot on.

The HEAT don't tank. Ever. They will go with Dragic/ Winslow/ Whiteside and a bunch of other players whos names begin with W, and then when Bosh's contract comes off the books in the summer they will be a FA destination.

Dragic, Winslow and Whiteside aren't carrying any team. If the Heat are smart, they tank for a good draft pick, and reload next year with all the money from Bosh's contract. They may not "tank" like the Sixers are some other really bad teams, but they just won't be able to win much with that roster. The Heat aren't a good team, it's that simple.

The Pistons made the playoffs last year with comparable talent:

                Jackson/ KCP/ Morris/ Harris/ Drummond
                vs
                Dragic/ Waiters/ Winslow/ Williams/ Whiteside

I expect they will trade for another SF at some point.
