Monday 5/4/09 Playoff Picks...

Hello all,
Ok so far I'm 21-14-1 on these playoffs.... Here are my picks for tonight...

Boston Celtics -1.5 -110 (They just played a hell of a series against the bulls, pushed to the limit after losing their series home opener... that won't happen again.)

Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic Total 1H UNDER 94 -110 (The game will start rusty with Bostons tired legs and Orlando having had time off)

Los Angeles Lakers -4.5 1H -115 (Lakers always start games out on fire, and give up leads in second half, which is why I'm staying away from the full game for the time being)

Alston vs Rondo - most points+assists made by Rajon Rondo -6½ pts+assists -110 (Rondo is clearly the better PG in this situation, he's been on fire passing the ball lately and still manages to get is fair share of points.)

hmm, rondo is really the best point in this series. alston is lucky to even play catch up with the leprechaun. to bad rondo doesnt have the jumper yet. he really needs to work on that. game 6 and 7 showed how weak it is, he is free from his man to take all the time to bank a jumper and all he can do is hit the ring.well, marbury is even worse. cant believe how lame his scoring went. like he played in the 80's and rested for decades

Total assists+rebounds made by Kobe Bryant OVER 10.5 assists+rebounds -115 (He's coming off quite a long rest, he's gonna be energized and he's been so much better at sharing the ball in general, it'll be important for him to get his teammates involved)

Rough game so far... still think Cs can mount a comeback... need rondo to step it up!! (that prop may be hopeless now)

Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic Total 1H UNDER 94 WINNER (They definitely looked tired to start, which helped this under immensely)

Los Angeles Lakers -4.5 1H (Lakers just blew chunks tonight They killed me on every bet)

Alston vs Rondo - most points+assists made by Rajon Rondo -6½ pts+assists WINNER (was looking real shitty at halftime, but he stepped it up in 2H)

Total assists+rebounds made by Kobe Bryant OVER 10.5 assists+rebounds WINNER (Couldn't shoot worth a damn first half and most of third so had to pass it... winner winner chicken dinner!)

Boston Celtics -5 2H WINNER (You just knew they weren't about to rollover at halftime... book it!)

Lakers -7 2H (I'm at a loss, they were out played in every possible way tonight)

Lakers -4 3Q

4-4 tonight...

Overall playoffs record... 25-18-1
