Interesting he should say that. You don't build a team up like that when you want them to win. He looks better if they lose, of course...

Of course he wants to build them up...if they fail it makes them look worse.

Are the Cavs that good or is the East that weak? Hard to gauge a team that is playing against JV teams until the NBA Finals.

smart move. makes him look like a mature professional-minded coach that is not petty/

someone that would not turn and root against a former team.

this move will employ him in the future.

If the Raptors are a JV team..why did they win 56 games ? Why did Biyombo grab 26 boards tonight ? Stop Watching ESPN and regurgitating what you hear...

Fitting that they get waxed the v.next game after he said it.

I've followed his career for some time and i can say for sure he would never dream of saying anything like that about a team he had a vested interest in -most coaches wouldn't.

The Warriors will be big favorites vs the Cavs in the finals, end of story.

David Blatt piling pressure on the mentally weak Cavs. Most strategic thing hes done since being a head coach in Europe.

Agree, it puts the pressure on them and if they dont win, maybe they would have with him as he expected them to.

Careful...The NBA would prefer 7 games..and so we cannot rule out the Cavs loosing 1 of the next 2 games...to bring about such an occurrence...Miami had no business taking Toronto to 7...the Refs and Casey made sure that it happened...
