Yes the East is weak. Those teams like the Raptors, Heat, Hawks, are not even close to the level of their equivalents in the West (Spurs, Thunder, Clippers). Not even close. Now from the 5 seed down yeah the East was better than the West this year but that wasn't the point here. Those are facts right there. If you had series between teams of equivalent seeds, the Spurs would annihilate the Raptors, the Thunder would annihilate the Heat and the Clippers would annihilate the Hawks.
