Other than game 1 of this series, I really haven't been impressed with the Spurs. Not sure if they just aren't playing as good or if Thunder are playing better. Everybody is stuck on the Spurs 43-1 home record during the regular season. All I know is they are 1-1 at home in this series. They had a freebie against the hurt Grizzlies. OKC is a different animal. Faster, Younger and the dogs. The pressure is on Spurs tonight.

Heat/Toronto game 5/series

instead of making a whole seperate thread ill just make this one thread into 2.

both teams are missing their bigs.. IMO toronto missing valaciunas is worse than miami missing whiteside. toronto NEEDS VAL. myimbo and patty p arent enough..

Miami has great role players like amari, udonis and mcroberts to fulfill whitesides shoes defensively and even score on the offensive end. toronto is a tough team but really have no big man presence. im expecting amari to dominate the boards and defensively make stops.

& i dont know whats wrong with derozan, i believe i heard he has been hurt all playoffs... hes most definitely playing like it. hasnt been performing like he should.

i believe Miami is decent enough to steal a toronto home game. that intensity miami had in Overtime in game 4 will carry over to game 5 regulation.

and just to throw a little conspiracy in there, The NBA gods wants to see the heat and the cavs go at it in a series and it starts here with this cover and outright win in toronto.

Miami to win the series is +145 right now. I was just thinking about taking it. It opened at +175 I think. There is no way in hell I would ever lay money on Toronto. Those 2 guys are garbage. Let's get it! I am definitely playing Miami plus points and smaller play on Miami ML. my book has Miami at +4 right now so i'm going to wait til tomorrow when it goes up hopefully. if not i still feel comfortable with +4.

If derozan and/or lowry are "on" miami would get raped. I think lowry has a much better game. I dont think derozan will be much different. His hand is injured allegedly. Either way, if only one of them are having a good game, they beat Miami. Hate to go against you, but ill be on toronto. Most likely, i'll live bet it after i see the first few shots. I said the same thing to myself. Toronto is playing so bad and Miami is barely winning. I just don't see Toronto improving, especially now that JV is out. JV means more to Toronto then Whiteside does to Miami in my opinion. Thats what it comes down to. Backing Toronto with the way those two are playing, I just can't. May the best pick win! haha

oh dude no harm done everyone has a different POV.. but no it doesnt worry me at all. miami's momentum should swing into this game. spoelstra knows what has to be done in order to control toronto. this game is the turning point for miami, they know if they lose this its basically over for them. dwayne wade has proven that he can show up in clutch moments. derozan hasnt. and toronto's head coach casey is a moron. IMO this will not only be a battle of the players, but a battle of the coaches too and i have to go with spoelstra in this situation, hes just more seasoned than casey. itll be a dog fight like the rest of the games have been thats for sure. may the best pick win my friend lol
