Others will definitely know more than I do on this one.

I watch Pinny and usually see them around 5-530pm Eastern.

Agree with Bucks and Clippers. From what I'm hearing about the Mavs, I think they may be in this slide for quite some time.

That Bobcats/Celtics game is a tough one to crack. C's in the same situational spot as Bulls and Pacers from the past two days respectively, but something about this Boston team smells and the stench is bad even against a young, inexperienced squad like Charlotte at home off 3 days rest.

I agree with that assessment. CHI and IND had each shown flashes before their breakouts Monday and yesterday. Celtics have not. Their best game was the loss at WAS over the weekend, and that was only a "respectable" loss and not a "good" loss.

Here are the Celtics-beat stories for today. Only mild signs that they're ready to break out.

1.Doesn't take much to impress Doc Idiot
2.Still getting beat by the dribble, which is still going to cause a ton of problems for them barring they don't have the zebras in their pockets for this one.
3.This first article would give me the impression to bet the C's first half and not worry, but they typically come out slow at home against inferior competition (though I'm not sure CHA is an inferior team myself, you get the point).

On Delonte, I've always heard he's a monster on the practice courts.

I watch for when Pinnacle's lines come out. The time varies from day to day, but it's usually in the afternoon between 2 and 5 PM. Generally, the more games there are the next day, the later they will come out at Pinnacle, although with the NCAAs they often put out lines for big games early and then the full slate later on.

But I use a program that my partner wrote that sends a text message to my cell phone alerting me when new lines are up at Pinnacle. Would anyone here have any use for that as well? If so, perhaps we could put it up somewhere and anyone can sign up to get the alerts.

It can be treacherous checking the lines so early because they can move very fast at that time, especially the NCAA lines. I'm very disciplined about not jumping on a line I think might be good out of fear that it will move quickly unless I'm sure it's a bet I want to make, but I've had to train myself to be that way.

On the other hand, it does sometimes make a difference. In the Utah/Detroit game of Nov. 6, for example, everyone and their mom was on Utah, and so was I. Most people probably lost that bet because they got Utah at -3 or -4 or something, but I was lucky enough to have gotten it early at -1.5. I would have taken it at a higher line if I hadn't gotten the lower one. If you set your own lines, and make bets off of that, seeing the lines as they come out can sometimes make a difference.

                                More cool stuff from Ganchrow.

My play is so dog-heavy that I know I'd be better off, on average, waiting and waiting. But it's fun to window shop the new releases as soon as they hit the stores.
