“OKC Played a Great Game in Game 2 and yet only Won by 1”
“Spurs played terrible, OKC played a great game and yet Spurs still only lost by 1.”

This is the type of stuff that will make people wrongly bet the Spurs tonight. The Thunder did NOT play a great game in game 2:

    1. 18 turnovers.
    2. Team shot 5/19 (26%) from 3 point land.
    3. Gave up back to back 3s with under a minute left including the foul on Aldridge.
    4. Roberson, Waiters, Morrow, Payne (role players) combine for 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist going 2-12 from the field in a combined 70 minutes.

Stars play well everywhere, but role players play better at home, especially in the playoffs. The Spurs will come out extremely focused off their terrible performance last game, but they aren’t winning in OKC tonight.

    • How many people are forgetting the Spurs are 20-26 (43%) SU against winning teams in the last 2 seasons on the road?
    • How many people are forgetting the Thunder are 12-2 (86%) SU against the Spurs at home since 2011 when both Durant and Westbrook are in the lineup? Including against the Spurs roster that went to back2back finals.

San Antonio never wins in OKC, tonight will be no different. Popovich had his team ready and better prepared in game 1 but it’s a different series now.

LeagueCapper you openly admit to being a huge fan and home for OKC and you have the series as a max play also and the spurs series price as dead money right?

Not saying Thunder are the wrong side -- they could definitely upset the Spurs and Warriors but they stand no chance to win a championship this year as is evident by their future price

It would be fun to see Cavs v. Thunder though and see LeBron own KD again

When I read this thread I was about to come in here guns a blazin'. Then I read a bunch of logic.

San Antonio didn't play well but neither did OKC, just like you said. Also, you have to give some credit to OKC for making adjustments. OKC basically said, "OK, LaMarcus Aldrige, see if you can score 50 and beat us, we're going to take away Leonard."

You could look also look at from the angle that Aldridge went off and the Spurs still lost.

OKC lead the game wire to wire and was easily the better team "that night". OKC was up 9 points with 6 minutes to go and they were up 4 points with 10 seconds to go. It wasn't like it was a 1 point seesaw game back and forth that they eeked out.

I still favor the Spurs to win the series "slightly" but OKC has it in their hands right now.
