I think Id rather have Jimmer. Im not hatin on Jenkins, was rooting for Nova and he is a great story. But look at this D! You have a few ticks left and the whole team is open for a final longball. UNC was playin like they were up 4 defending the 2.

Yea they were open because the refs were pretty handy with the whistle tonight. Worst situation is fouling with 4 seconds left in a tie game...make them beat you with the shot. I'm not saying they were biased on the calls per se but certainly some interesting whistles/non whistles during the game. NC played it okay defensively imo.

still you fukin guys with the referee calls.....AGAIN ask yourself how roy williams was totally out coached and how NC could not get the ball in the paint when nova had guards playing the big men

Refs weren't great in the final four or champ game, but refs didn't decide ANY of the outcomes.

Some tick tac fouls against Meeks and Hicks, but also 2 tick tack fouls against Jenkins early which sent him to the bench. On the flip side, Arci was getting molested down low and refs swallowed their whistles. Inconsistent calls, but it seemed like in general the refs wanted to let the guys play.

In fact, Jay Wright knew if they tried to go to the rim they would've gotten hammered by UNC and the refs wouldn't call shit, so he looked for an open jump shot and it worked perfectly.

The chances of them getting to the rim in 4.7 against a full court press are about slim to none. Archie isnt Westbrook

C'mon the last foul shots Nova took when their guard got hit... Even Raftery was going off. He traveled.

But thats how this tourney goes. Single elimination and every game is tight and there are going to be a few subjective calls down the stretch.
