Been making some coin this week in the NBA. Tonight's slate looks tasty....
NY KNICKS -5- over Brooklyn. Tough scheduling dynamics for the Nets. They're playing their 4th game in 5 nights, all on the road! They lost the first 3 by 11, 34, and 20. Terrible defense. The Knicks are no gangbusters but they should be able to take advantage of Brooklyn's tired legs tonight at MSG.
CLEVELAND +2- at Atlanta. I'm sure their are plenty of cappers calling for the Hawks to get it done tonight. In my mind Cleveland is still the class of the east and will use a game like this as a tune-up for the upcoming playoffs.
MILWAUKEE -2 over Orlando. The Magic have been playing very well, winning 3 in a row--all by over 20. Why step in front of this train, right? The short answer is because it's the Magic and I'm a big fan of regression to the mean. Reality sets in tonight against the rested Bucks.
UTAH -8- over Minnesota. The Rockets did the Jazz a big favor last night by losing at home to the Bulls. That gives Utah a half game cushion for the 8th and final playoff spot. They've had a couple days to shake off that heartbreaking defeat to the Warriors the other night. They can't let this opportunity get away. Lay it.
MIAMI -7- at Sacramento. Cousins will sit tonight after picking up this 16th technical of the year. Yikes! Miami has to be in a foul mood after losing to the pathetic Lakers the other night. The Heat are still fighting for home court in the playoffs and need this one.
As always, best of luck
