Wed night NBA

I thought I would put the right day of the week in this time. Yesterday I put the wrong one in.

I usually post either at the top of the hour or bottom of the hour in case there are players sitting. Seem to be a lot of that this time of the year.

Looking at a lot of dogs tonight with a few faves mixed in.

Another 1-3 night on another failure by a team to close the game out. Who knows? Maybe I'll get a makeup tomorrow night like I did last night.

Notes:
-I got faked out by late line movement on Minnesota. I should have known better. I should have played the -5 to -6 movement instead of the late -6 to -5 1/2.
-I still stand by my call on Memphis even though they came up short.
-I still stand by my Utah call even though they choked.

You're right. It should be at least 1-1.5 points and I should have known better. However, the psychology of making a bet is complex. Sometimes we're just looking for the slightest thing to make up our mind. Sometimes, like me tonight, we get caught up in the excitement of the line movement and let it influence us to make a bad bet.

Hopefully it was a lesson learned but somehow I can see myself getting caught up in the excitement again. It's a long, long learning process when emotions are involved.
