Generally the answer is no.

Circumstances when hedging appropriate few and far between but maybe if you 1) staked too much on initial wager (on purpose to circumvent limit on one line in the group or because you tilted out), 2) taking advantage of a weak future line and value surpassed in earlier "rounds" 3) change of circumstance. I think that's about it.
