That'll almost certainly be looked at as limit evasion. I could have my account closed. More importantly, it's potentially a zero gain bet. If it loses, they'll keep all my money. If it wins, they'd be well within their rights to cancel the winning bets after the game, refund my risk amount, and issue me a warning or worse.

Most books have automated software limits that would not even allow you to wager above the limit with multiple bets on the same line. If they do allow that, you would not be in breach. I sometimes have a funny situation at one of the books where they like to lower limits on a given line, so that sometimes I have two-three times more riding on a line than the current limit. But once the bet has been placed and accepted they should honor it.

Now, you called them already about this issue so it is probably the best idea to just sit tight. Regardless, good luck and I would not worry about this limits crap too much.
