    Does anyone know why the Cavs did not sign Varejao after Portland cut him?
    The Cavs have two empty roster spots, they know that Varejao will fit in. If GS signed him then certainly he is still good enough for the Cavs. The trade last week was for contract purposes.

    Maybe they want to get him a championship ring before he retires?

Thompson would eventually replace Varejao as the Cavaliers' hustle, defense-first power forward of choice, but he owes his game to the floppy-haired Brazilian."Andy was more than just a teammate, he was a friend, a big brother, and so wherever he can go to keep playing, I'm happy for him, even with him being with the Warriors," Thompson said.

                      My entry in the contest to name the team was "The Cleveland Cannons".
                      To me, anyone that didn't enter that contest is hanging onto the bandwagon by a thread.

                      And please don't give me that bullshit excuse "I wasn't born yet", whose fault is that.

                                  always felt Varejao lacked aggressiveness

                                  and should have curt his hair along time ago, lost weight too.

                                  he always looked like he didn't want to disturb his hair too much.

                                  pro athletes that have to run a lot, should avoid long hair.. ditto Shumpert

                                  it will slow you down, by 3% or soothing small. but that is the difference much of th time
