More like they wanted Harris -Jennings is a FA at the end of the season. Harris was disappointing in Orlando imo

Both teams kind of get what they want. Detroit get a young player to add to their core starters and Orlando put themselves in a fantastic spot salary cap wise while having a ready replacement for Frye. Harris was probably the weakest out of the bunch in Skiles' defensive schemes so it's a bit of a no surprise he's been shipped elsewhere.
Hennigan has nailed every trade he has done so I think Magic fans should have faith in him although I think it's Skiles influenced

The question is: Is Harris an upgrade over Ilyasova? Ilyasova did great blue collar work for the Pistons... Jury still out on Harris... Magic with buyer's remorse a mere half season after re-signing him.

If you like the trade, the Pistons are 100-1 to win the east. IMO pretty good odds even if you need to root for Kyrie and Lebron running into each other in first round of playoffs
