Whiteside is out, sure, but he's been out for 4 games so it's not like this is earthshattering news. What gives? Pinny opened them as a fave and now they're +3.

I have no idea man. I've been wondering the same thing myself. I initially leaned Atlanta originally but may have to pass on this one.

At least read the opening post before replying. It wasn't that long.

in case anyone needed to know that line movement means nothing in nba, look at this game.

Assuming this keeps up and Mavs take care of business tonight, got to think Atlanta bounces back tomorrow and smacks Dallas.

no, its not that it doesn't mean anything its that most people read line movement incorrectly

Atlanta is struggling quite a bit right now. The trade rumours are part of it and their play last year just wasn't sustainable.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they win tomorrow for sure, dunno about covering the 7. The Mavs do seem to be targeting that game though as they're resting Dirk tonight to play him tomorrow.

Line movement on a game that crosses over the 0 is a little different. I think it's important to keep an eye on line moves.

I would just like to say that after the massive -123 to -145 steam on Atlanta, they literally went from -145 to -144 1 minute before the game went off.
