Hell no, don't go ALL IN... I was all over the Cav's in this game until there bench collapsed in the 4th quarter. Detroit was dead and buried but then they got revived after being flatlined. Rasheed, Rip and Tayshaun was ready to go on vacation but once they saw their backups get going it was very convicting to them. They have to perform better now.
This could be a huge trap waiting to happen just like the Lakers tonight. I like Detroit 1st half and Cleveland 2nd half but it may be a crapshoot who wins. Why in the hell did the Cav's give them hope???

Also realize that a lot of the shot's that fell in Cleveland for the Cav's won't fall in Detroit. There not going to get the calls either. Cleveland sometimes rely too much on jump shots and can get abused in the paint at times. Detroit has resorted to pushing, fighting, whatever and an ugly game helps Detroit. They have a lot of issues offensively and don't play well at home either but don't discount hope and a little excitement from the crowd.

no way pistons play at home as well as the utah jazz normally do vs. lakers. Pistons are 21-20 at home thats the WORST of ALL PO Teams. Cavs saw Lakers losing @ Jazz and they should sweep Pistons to get more Rest! Im going very big on Cavs too. See when the starters of Pistons were Playing they had between -18 and -30 (Hamilton in G2). While the Cavs starters had +18 to +31 (James in G2). NO WAY Pistons win, Cavs are just way better, and Pistons suck at home, even lost to Bulls (13-28 @ road), MEMPHIS and almost every good team besides Orlando and Denver.

I think it's a better bet than Cleveland as a road fav. I don't see both of these teams shooting well. One for sure is going to struggle. Detroit has to slow the pace to have a chance.
Either way I wouldn't lay to much on this game. Houston -5.5 is the best play IMO.

I agree, they are awful at home and just as bad on the road. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs to begin with.
That said, why is the line only -4.5??? Vegas is not in the business to give away money. This line is inviting you to hammer Cleveland (just like we were suppose to hammer LA tonight). "Read between the lines". This may be the play but don't get emotional and excited because it looks like we've got a free gift.
If it looks to good to be true, sometimes its fishy.

I got Houston at -5.5 when it first opened. Most places showing the line going from 5 to 6 not the other way around.

The Jazz line today was absolutely correct, Jazz are 32-8 at home and last year 37-4 (league best), and beat LA 8 of 11 times. AND Bryant had only 5-24, and 40-55 Rebounds, and still only lost by a bucket...
But Detroit?!? 21-20 is not anywhere NEAR that. Anyone saw Detroit had a chance vs starters?? NO. I think Cavs defense was awesome in both games and they executed well in the offense. I know Cavs lost last 4 of 5 @ Det but the last one was won by 10. Only because of a 32-14 4th Quarter though.
BUT THIS IS PLAYOFF TIME. -4.5 seems to be a good line and high enough because this could be a one possesion game. Im laying off the juice and hammer on the ML.

ok. the jazz were the correct play yesterday. today it is the cavs!!! pistons (as weve seen) do not match up well, cavs are playing at a much higher level of talent. every game in this series is going to be a blowout like i said before. the only reason the score was .5 pt cover by cavs last game is the blown lead by cavs bench. They will be focused here and light out! Cavs by dd.

Detroit is trying to unload tickets for tonight. Thousands of Cav fans are lining up to attend (3 hour drive)
Stubhub has tickets for $11. This has to be demoralizing. I'm now leaning Cav's.

I like the under bet..but i wouldnt be too sure.
The pistons could be riding with the way they finished up last game, there finally back in Detroit, they'll have some momentum to build off of. If this series isnt a sweep, this is the game Detroit wins.
Real tough call here.

Cavaliers fans willing to make the drive to Detroit will find tickets plentiful and cheap for tonight’s Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Pistons.
As of Thursday afternoon, tickets were available on Stubhub.com for as low as $11. The Pistons even sent an e-mail to Cavs season-ticket holders offering tickets for sale.
Of course, fans who don’t want to make the four-hour drive can attend the official “Playoff Watch Party” at The Q. Admission is free, but a ticket for reserved seating is required for entry. Tickets are available at The Q box office and ticketmaster.com. There is an eight-ticket limit per person while supplies last, and fans must be 18 and older to obtain a ticket. Those 16 and under attending the watch party must be accompanied by an adult. Dead and buried? Pistons coach Michael Curry made some interesting comments after practice Thursday in the wake of recent comments about his team’s lack of heart and pride.
“We didn’t play well and we lost to a very good home team,” Curry told reporters in Detroit. “That’s it. I don’t think all of a sudden you can question pride and heart with a group of guys that have won. Physically they might not be able to do some of the things they’ve done before, I can acknowledge that, but I don’t go deeper than that. . . . I fully believe that we’re going to take care of home court and win tomorrow night.”

Come on now... Talk about a dejected team/city.And this quote by Curry says it all.
