    Prop Bet of the Day
Tony Parker OVER 32.5 Points + Assists

Dallas cannot stop Tony Parker. It's been evident in the first two games of this series. Game 1 saw him struggle a bit from the field and he only recorded 24 points (9-22 shooting) and 8 assists. Game 2 was a whole different story. Parker was able to whatever he wanted on his way to 38 points and 8 assists. I don't see anything changing that will allow Dallas to somehow keep Parker out of the lane. He will still be able to take whoever is guarding him off the dribble and create for himself or for his teammates. In 6 games vs Dallas this year, he has failed to reach this total only twice, with the exceptions being Game 1 of this series and the first meeting between the two teams back in November. In three games, he has surpassed this mark in points alone (37, 37, 38). The Spurs need another big game from Parker in order to win this game. I expect him to be aggressive and be the facilitator on the offensive end.

    Can't agree.

After a player has a monster game it's rarely a good idea to get right back on him, especially with a change in venue. Adjusting to him is going to be at the top of the Dallas adjustment schedule, and they do have options to hedge more and to keep Kidd off of him. Also Dallas will shoot better which means less of Parker speeding down an open court. And if Dallas gets a lead they will slow the game down, further limiting Parker's possessions.

I don't love the under, but don't see your evidence as compelling.

Yeah no opinion for me on this one and with all the BS surrounding Dampier's comments - I don't know what to think here. The one I like and am a little amazed at is the OVER for 3 pointers made between Boston & Chicago at 12.5 with +110 odds. I know Game 1, both teams couldn't hit crap ... but both teams are fully capable of hitting almost double digit 3s by themselves if any of their shooters get hot. Happened in Game 2. Probably gonna roll with this one and see if the hot shooting continues.

I rode this prop bet in Game 1 at OVER 30.5 Points + Assists and in Game 2 at OVER 31.5 Points + Assists. I'm going to ride it until the wheels fall off. I appreciate both of your opinions but even if Kidd isn't guarding him, no one else will stay in front of him. Parker is too fast for anyone on that Dallas squad.

EaglesPhan, I was looking at that prop bet between Chicago and Boston too because Allen and Gordon could get hot at any moment and defense hasn't been that good in this series either. Good luck with your play.

Yeah what I like about it is that Gordon, Salmons & Heinrich can all hit if left open. Allen, Pierce & House for Boston and Pierce hasn't even been shooting 3s much in this series. Just looking at the games they played this season, the guys being hot was much more likely than them being cold.

I'd definitely go over on that Parker wager before I thought about the under. I think he will have a tougher time of it today, but can't see the Mavs holding him to anything less than 22 points or so on a great day defensively and then you still got the assists to toss in.

Parker can still absorb contact. You make it sound like he's a girl and that's clearly not the case. There were a couple hard fouls in the first two games of the series and he was fine after that. I don't see this as that big of a deal. You can take it your way or I can take it as motivation to show Dampier up. I think Parker shows up Dampier and the sorry interior defense of the Mavericks yet again.

Deron Williams +37? I can get a prop at +1.5 Points + Assists vs Kobe Bryant. I might play it depending how this one turns out. No one can stop Deron on the Lakers and if he had his way on the road, then he'll definitely get more calls at home.

I agree. All those guys have the ability to shoot the ball from long range. Plus, the Bulls play much better at home and maybe the home crowd is what they need to start hitting some jumpers.

I'm not so sure about Rondo's prop because I don't know how much his ankle injury is affecting him. For Noah, I'd probably lean OVER because the Bulls play better at home and if he was able to put up pretty good stats on the road in Boston, I could see him duplicating his total at home. That's just my two cents.

thx @ The Kid for sharing your thoughts - couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the Tony Parker prop, for if DAL makes this game ugly fast, I can see Parker & Duncan getting benched a lot in 2nd half.

Dunno, but the Rondo & Noah prop seemed to good to be true, since both covered easily in games 1 & 2. Didn't think Rondo's ankle would be a major factor - it's playoff time and HCA is gone and w/out Rondo BOS is toast imho..

Here are others that look tasty :

Carlos Boozer - Total Points and Rebounds OVER29.5 @ -105
                      Game 1 : 27 pts (11-16 FG, 0-0 3FG, 5-6 FT) and 9 rbds for a total of 36
                      Game 2 : 20 pts (8-18, 0-0, 4-5) and 10 rbds for a total of 30

Deron Williams - Total Points and Assists OVER 33.5 @ -115
                      Game 1 :16 pts ( 4-14, 0-4, 8-8 ) and 17 assists for a total of 33
                      Game 2 : 35 pts ( 12-23, 6-11, 5-6 ) and 9 assists for a total of 44

I'd definitely take Deron Williams OVER 33.5 Points + Assists. No one on the Lakers can stop him and he'll definitely get some home loving by the refs tonight. Actually, I'd probably play both of those props knowing that the Jazz need this game. Both players will need to step up their play to secure a W and try to get back in this series.

Cashed the +110 on the over for 3s made in the 3rd quarter. I just don't get that one, but I'll gladly take that money! Good luck with a big half for Parker. Spurs can't play any worse!

This one is a loser. I'm counting it as a loss in the 3Q. The Spurs are down by 26 points now and Dallas is hitting every shot they take. Pops is going to pull the starters soon and Parker won't get enough playing time to reach or surpass this total.
