Detroit Pistons -3 -140 (buy)
Pistons 10-2 ATS as a home favorite of less than 7 points. Orlando have been road warriors, they are 10-5 ATS on the road. But the Magic current form doesn't look too good. Elfrid Payton has been a non-factor as he is dealing with a bruised ankle. Orlando have some nice young pieces that are gelling but there is one thing this team lacks that could put them at the next level: leadership. Andre Drummond is a fantasy favorite as he is producing against just about any team he faces. Detroit's offense improved quite a bit in the month of December; the Brandon Jennings/Steve Blake swap will be another improvement for January and months down the road.
Strong underdog candidates in Toronto & Brooklyn. Revenge game for Boston but that is just too many points for a team that figured Boston out; Brook Lopez was unstoppable. Jarret Jack is done for the season but i think Shane Larkin will be adequate. I may take a bite on those games at Halftime.

GAME OF THE MONTH: Dallas @ San Antonio on January 17.
