Lakers have been too complacent when they have huge leads. Just look at Game 1 and Game 2 and you'll see how they let Utah to hang around for way too long. Utah is a mediocre road team and the Lakers almost let them come back from 20 points in Game 2. The lead was actually cut down to one possession before they finally pulled away. Utah's strong play at home combined with the Lakers inadequacy to shut the door is enough for me to take the points and the ML on Utah in Game 3. Also, the refs will probably be on Utah's side. Once the Jazz start controlling the tempo and the paint, the refs will start blowing their whistles for the home team. The Lakers do not have an answer for Deron Williams either. I expect another 30+ points and 10+ assists from him tomorrow night. When he is able to get into the paint, it opens up so many more options for himself and his teammates. The interior defense for the Lakers has been pretty much non-existent and because Utah thrives on getting easy buckets in the paint, that could be a problem in Game 3.

Utah at home is damn near invincible. Okur may come back which will spread the floor and get Bynum or Gasol extended. Boozer is playing like a beast, pulling down rebounds like a magnet and the Laker's don't care about this game.

History says when a home team goes up 2-0, the dog will cover dam near 80% of the time and win the game like 16 of the last 23 (I don't have the exact numbers near me).

Let the public hammer LA then go with the spread sprinkled with ML.

Okur -->MAY<-- come back lakers blow big leads but still get it done. They have the ability to play with the best of them and play to the level of talent they are faced with. Utah will give them a fight but i see a hungry lakers team that gets the win tomaro.

bet 100$ and if they lose double up game 4 cause lakers wont lose two in utah...utah isnt the same team as last year thats for damnnn sure

Unabomber - Laker's look like they are just toying with Utah so I understand your view and Okur probably won't play BUT Utah always looks horrible on the road. At home it is unbelievably different. Utah makes teams look awful at home, including LA. Utah is 33-8 at home and 15-26 on the road. This is one of the widest discrepancies in the league. Add to all this, Kobe who has lost in Utah 8 out of 9 tries.

I think the Lakers might take a game in Utah but it aint going to be game 3...

The Lakers will cover either this game or the next game, so don't go to crazy on this one. Bet a smaller amount on this one, if they lose then double the next game. The Lakers are clearly the more dominant team here and I don't see them letting up. Denver was a -1.5 favorite at home in game 3 last year and got beaten, so the same can happen here. If not, definitely game 4 the Lakers will take it.

I like all 3 home teams tomorrow. Dallas was embarrassed and should bounce back at home. Timmy should be on tired legs as well.

I don't have the exact number but Utah has won the last 7 of 8 or 7 of 10 vs the Lakers in Salt Lake. With that said, anytime you can get the lakers at + or as a small favorite, you take it. It's a good bet. Even if they end up getting mollywhooped it was worth the shot

Exactly. Dont psychoanalyze these lines. Just critic what is happening on the court. I always try and find what is the teams actual strengths, and see if they trump their opponents. Utah's is the PG, and it stops right there. Deron has to play major minutes, and that will catch up to him in-game, and in the long run. If yall wanna give them the home court ADV go ahead, but Lakers have been cutting their teeth in the playoffs for a while they know what to expect. If yall expect a close game, how are the Lakers not the play? Holla at ya boi.

This team is day and night on at home and on the road. 2 completely different teams, probably the most dangerous team at home in the whole NBA.

Or you can also say that any time you can get Utah as a home dog, they are worth a shot. Jazz have one of the stongest home courts in the NBA, as they were 33-8 here this year and two of the losses came after they cliched a playoff spot.

Its a real tought one, but I will have to go with the Lakers on this one. It will be a close one, but Lakers will win this. They want a sweep to start resting their players. Utah does play well at home, but Lakers was one of the teams to deal them a lost. I have to take it...Lakers -1.5. Think over is a play too
