I tried a teaser earlier this week with 3 teams and +7 as a teaser and won. Why isn't it that people dont like teasers? I think with following good cappers and combining it with teasers, shouldnt that be very successful? Maybe someone can save me if im going to be doing something wrong.
Why aren't teasers popular? Ones that give you like +10

#4+10 added to spread? if so those must be used correctly to maximize your opportunity in that teaser. i have used these in the past and have done very well, but it must be an open teaser so u can choose your spots. some have taken me two weeks to close out. good luck!Comment -

#5Points in basketball are too easy to come by and swings are too huge. Plus, most teasers don't add that many points in basketball.
Teasers are only good in NFL (sides and totals) as well as the OVER in college football.
It's too easy to get blown out of the water in modern sports.Comment -

Stackingreen: I understand that swings happen but that's why i try not to do teasers blindly, but to combine it with picks from good cappersComment -

Ive just always found it better to take the dogs. You give yourself a little more leeway. So instead of having 3 games where the favorite has to win by x amount you could take the dogs and then if an upset happens, you're all good and you have a large spread that is much tougher to cover for the favorite.
All teasers look good on paper just be smart.Comment -

#13Yeah youre right. I might reevalute and choose some dogs. Do you post your teasers anywhere, A123? And at what +points do you usually use? I like the +7 to +8 rangeComment -

#14The amount of points I take is always dependent on the games. If I really like say 3 games, Ill take the 5 with the + odds.
I dont post my plays anywhere, haven't looked into todays games yet either. Once I check them out Ill post some teasers if I see anything though.Comment -

#17I rarely do teasers, usually only liking ATS for good teams in good spots, for instance if Spurs/GSW/Atlanta (circa last season) are all playing bottom feeders. This season, there seems to be more volatility in NBA so no teasers for me, and I never use totals in my teasers. NFL is a slightly different story.
Anyway, long-term this is not a winning strategy; you are basically paying too much juice. Read this for example

#18I am still pretty confident in teasers...only the kings failed me but what are the chances of philly getting their 3rd win..it happens. Should of chosen pacers with a +10 instead since they were at +3Comment -
