I don't see how the way this team has started weakens Harden's point he should've been MVP last year.

If anything, it reinforces it. He carried a team of bums to the #2 seed in the Western Conference. Now given Golden State's dominance, no travesty in Curry winning it either for sure.

I said after a few games they might have overachieved last year. I'm not yet convinced of it for sure but it's a possibility. Obviously no excuse for losing badly in consecutive home games to a Dallas team resting 3 starters and a very average Boston team though.

The first part of your post is completely irrelevant since we're talking about last year and not this year.

MVP is based on 82 games not 4 games so I fail to see what point you're trying to make.
