I can't explain it all here. It's a pattern I've been following. I'll give you a specific example: Warriors had a poor game at 76ers. So they were supposed to "shake the dust off" at the Knicks. Yes, they covered at the Knicks, but they scored a miserly 18 points in the 1Q. Knicks won the 1Q. Knicks ML (1Q) was at +205. Raptors were expected to bounce back tonight after yesterday's poor showing but they were always going to find a way to lose the 1Q. Hope this helps.

I would say yes. I would rank my plays in this order of preference: "Free money", "Revenge", "Bounce back", then others.
Look at it this way: in their last 5 road games, the Pacers allowed less than 100 points only to the dysfunctional Suns. In their last 7 home games, the Nets have hit triple digits against the Knicks, Trailblazers, Thunder, and Pistons. They even scored 98 against a Heat team that's more defensive than the Pacers. BTW, the not-too-impressive Nets road offense already scored 97 points at the Pacers. I just don't see the Nets scoring less than 100 points tonight. Hope that helps.
