Their bench is one of the best in the NBA. This is best Spurs roster in past 5 years I'd argue. Not team, best roster.

Spurs are old. But they've proved season after season that age does not matter when you're playing for the best coach in the league. They have a systematic approach. They play true smart ball. Flawless ball movement. On time ball delivery. Solid off-ball movement. Fantastic chemistry and communication. Most selfless team in all of sports = Success.

Aldridge may be considered "soft" because he doesn't pound the paint. But his style and Duncan's are very similar and Timmy has won multiple championship. At an old age too.

West is old. But a tough mother F***er in the paint with a veteran presence and high percentage mid range shooter. Popp will make sure his talents are used efficiently.

Popp old? Not really sure why that matters because he won a championship in 2014. He was considered "old" at that time too.

I don't see a reason to rebuild when they're projected to win 60+ games this season.
