Asian handicaps are not used in basketball but in football or so called soccer. It's a form of spread betting originated from Indonesia. It's also used for alternate totals in soccer. I never seen it used in NBA by any standard books.

It's when you can adjust the spread, lets say you have under 200 at -105 odds, you can change that to under 200.5 and it would cost like 5 or 6 cents in most books (-110 -111 odds). Likewise, you can sell points for better than -105 odds and you have a lower break-even percentage in that case.

And to sum that up asians are used in NHL. I don't know way but for example bet365 has them in live bets - you can't play them earlier..

It's interesting how you seem to make picks that aren't typical (e.g., ATS, O/U). You tend to go for the 1H, 1Q and TT picks. It's rare to find people who are good who find edges in these areas.
