I'm not going to concern myself about guessing whether a game will be rigged or not, especially since I have no way of knowing such things. Let's focus on what we actually know and can see.

This series is tough to get a read on watching these games. Neither team is playing good basketball and it just seems to come down to who makes the plays late. To be honest it feels a bit like Raptors/Nets a couple years ago. Most of the games have followed that script pretty much to a T except the Raptors got game 3 instead of game 4.

Raptors finally showed up tonight for the first time in 3 years in a playoff game.

I'm just glad I didn't bet these series game by game. Turns out I actually made half a unit in this thread over the conference semis and I'm fairly sure I would've lost quite a bit if I had gone the game-by-game route. Sometimes it's just not your season and you have to recognise it's time to stop the bleeding. Now that said I think the conference finals may have a few more good opportunities than the previous rounds.

Post is self-explanatory. I just have no feel for the playoffs this year and I'm not gonna cost myself any more money and dig myself a bigger hole for next year. I'll still be around to discuss the games. And obviously will be back next year - no worries on that front.

Honestly thought I'd last it out without making another play after I resisted every urge I had to bet the Cavs in game 6. But I haven't had more than £50 on a play in a month or so and I'm about to have 4 more months of that so I kinda figured let's take one more shot and drop a grand on this game. Anyway, win or lose this is the last game.

Just like my Clippers promise, I lasted it out quite a bit. Proud of myself. Not quite to the end though.
